We love nachos – you know that. We even came up with a way of making our own that was healthier than buying them in-store. But how can you take a plate of nachos and make it even healthier? By using roasted peppers to create chilli nachos loaded with all the best bits, that’s how.
So, hopefully you spotted our Vine on Monday – the chili bean cakes which we have been raving about this week! We just had to set aside a bit of special space for these to explain the recipe and tell you a bit more about them. They are so fresh and tasty that they absolutely need to be shared, so make sure that you give this one a try if you are a veggie burger fan.
Recently we went back to Ed’s Diner to try their second burger – a full year after the first! The chickpea and quinoa burger was the focus of this visit, but I also decided to get a plate of the atomic American fries. These are served “With chilli, sour cream, Cheddar cheese sauce and guacamole on the side. Veggie option with BBQ sauce”. As you will see below, they are absolutely huge. The burger itself was very filling too, so just with these two items it was a filling meal.
You probably know by now that I unashamedly LOVE Wetherspoons. I’m the first to admit that in some towns you will find undercooked or burnt food, rude waitresses, and half the menu not available. But when you find the right Spoons, you will find a menu full of fantastic and great tasting veggie options, all at a brilliantly low price. After putting the Mexican and veggie burgers at the top of my top ten list, you can imagine my excitement when I read their latest new menu… featuring the all-new Texan burger.
