Pulled Jackfruit Burgers

  • 250 g drained jackfruit
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1/4 tsp mustard


  1. Put the jackfruit into a bowl and add the BBQ sauce, maple syrup, liquid smoke and mustard. Mix together to coat jackfruit evenly.

  2. Place mixture onto baking tray, covered with grease paper, in burger-sized lumps. You can also cook as a sheet mixture and then separate into burgers later.

  3. Put into oven and cook for 25 mins at 180c (fan).

  4. Serve in burger buns with chips on the side!
