After coming back from Australia, J couldn’t wait to try out cooking one of the dishes he ate while he was over there. This is his recreation of a chicken parma – you can see the recipe down below, as well as the video of how we made it.
This isn’t exactly health food, but it is pretty easy to make it vegan all you have to do is add vegan cheese instead of cheddar – or just cut the cheese out entirely! Most UK supermarkets now stock a good-quality vegan cheese in grated form, so you’ll be fully ready to go.
Now let’s get into how you can make it!
- 4 Quorn chicken fillets
- 4 Quorn ham slices
- 500 g tomato and herb sauce
- 100 g cheese
- 500 g chips
Place the fillets into a baking dish, and pour half the sauce over them.
Place the ham slices across the top of the fillets.
Pour the remainder of the sauce over the fillets.
Cut the cheese into slices and place them over the top of the fillets.
Place into the oven at 180 degrees (fan) for 30 minutes.
Cook your chips at the same time according to packet instructions.
Serve with the chips on the plate, and then layer the cooked fillets, sauce, ham, and cheese over the top.
