I’ve had my lovely adult braces in for four months now, so it seems like time to share what I’ve learned about food for braces. I read a lot before I had them put in about what not to eat, but I didn’t read a lot about what I could eat. There wasn’t much explanation of the logic behind it, either.
Garlic bread soup – it’s the future. We’ve tasted it.
This soup came about when we were thinking to ourselves about things we liked. Soup is obviously one of them, as you can no doubt tell from our blog. Garlic bread is also pretty high on the list. But can you combine the two?
This week’s video recipe is something a little bit different: lasagna soup. We love soup so much we decided to make a few recipes based on bringing our favourite dishes to soup form, so there are going to be plenty more where this came from.
This dish brings everything we enjoy about lasagna to a soup. It also brings along everything we enjoy about soup to a lasagne, which is pretty neat. We started with a tomato base and included plenty of the vegetables and herbs that you might want to use in your lasagna, which was a good start – but still just a vegetable soup. So how to make it more lasagna?
This week we’re sharing a recipe round-up with you – this time, all about how to cook with sweet potato! We’ve gathered our 10 favourite recipes with this delicious ingredient, and now it’s up to you to give them a try. Without further ado, let’s get stuck in!
This is definitely one of my favourite recipes to make recently. Who would have thought that simple French onion soup could be so good? After all, it’s basically just onions… but somehow it magically transforms through cooking into something delicious and mouth-watering.
It’s time for another of our travel guides – this time based in Birmingham! I regularly go out there for fashion shows (or did until the Clothes Show shut its doors), and this year managed to stay on a little longer to visit some attractions around the area. This is by no means a comprehensive rundown of Birmingham’s vegetarian food and I would love to go back to explore some more – if I do, this guide will be updated. For now, let’s take a look at my travels!
We’re officially launching our YouTube channel this week with a shiny new look! Which makes this carrot and coriander soup officially our first big video. We’re so excited to share it with you because it’s really different to the normal soups that we make. It’s actually done to more of a traditional recipe, which is fantastic for those of you who don’t enjoy soup so thick it barely drops from the spoon like we usually make!
This one was a lot of fun to make – I love a festive carrot dish, and it was the first thing that we thought of after picking up this cranberry sauce at the Foodies Festival. As you know by now, I’m a soup lover – and in fact Black Friday brought us a new individual blender which we will be showing off next time we get the chance to make smoothies.
Hi all! Now, if you only follow us here on the blog, you most likely already know that we usually post Vine videos on Mondays. What you may have seen is that every now and then there’s no post on a Monday – usually when the Vine doesn’t require a recipe to go along with it. In order to keep you all up to date, this is a quick Vine round up of some of the delicious clips we’ve posted lately that didn’t quite make it onto the blog. Most of them are pretty self-explanatory, which is why we didn’t do recipe posts for these – but if you have any particular questions, please feel free to leave a comment and ask away. In the meantime, feast your eyes…
