This week we tried something a little different: a Christmas tree made from mince pie filling and covered in melted green chocolate, because why not? It’s a little messy and we’re definitely not dessert experts, but this is something you can elevate and bring your own flair to, especially if you’re already a master at cake decorating!
This one was a lot of fun to make – I love a festive carrot dish, and it was the first thing that we thought of after picking up this cranberry sauce at the Foodies Festival. As you know by now, I’m a soup lover – and in fact Black Friday brought us a new individual blender which we will be showing off next time we get the chance to make smoothies.
This is one of those hilarious posts where I really can’t say that anything at all went well. While the Vine below may well show a gingerbread sleigh being made, I can’t say I ended up with one. I was quite excited to do this one as I have never made anything in a mould before, or gingerbread – and suffice to say, I’ll probably be doing something different next time.
